THE BREEZE THAT REMINDS ME OF YOU

This new series on paper carries my longing for distant horizons and warmth even more clearly. I feel this especially at this time of year – and the colour palette reflects this perfectly. Palm leaves swaying in the wind, trying to catch the last warm rays of sunshine. In this rather stylised series, texture, layers of colour and compositions work together to create a little moment of visual escape.

The frame is made of solid wood and is varnished four times in accordance with EU guidelines, so that the natural grain remains visible and tangible. The museum glass is anti-reflective on both sides (2 mm), shows the colours brilliantly and offers 70% UV protection – almost invisible, but with a great effect.
